Brenntag, the global leader in chemical and ingredient distribution, has officially opened a new facility dedicated to Animal Nutrition solutions. This state-of-the-art plant, operational since September 2024, features advanced ‘Neubacid Soft’ technology, enabling feed producers to enhance animal performance without compromising safety or efficacy, and supporting non-antibiotic diets.
Located in Mouscron, the facility benefits from excellent logistical connections, being near key ports and highways, and is strategically positioned to serve its regional customer base effectively. The new site consolidates Brenntag’s mixing and blending operations, while the Grez-en-Bouère site in France will continue to function as a central storage hub for the French Animal Nutrition sector.
The Mouscron facility boosts Brenntag’s operational flexibility and capacity, improving delivery times and accommodating larger purchase volumes, which is especially beneficial during periods of raw material shortages. The facility, built to the highest standards, has already achieved GMP+ certification, ensuring compliance with the rigorous demands of the Animal Nutrition industry.
