Stratasys is set to unveil the latest advancements in its FDM® (Fused Deposition Modeling) and P3™ (Programmable PhotoPolymerization) product lines at Formnext 2024, held from November 19-22 in Frankfurt, Germany.
The FDM platform now includes the new Fortus FDC™ filament drying cabinet, designed to enhance the productivity of F900® 3D printers by up to 2.7 times with features like uninterrupted printing, moisture protection, and extended uptime. The Fortus lineup also introduces a validated FDM® PC-ESD material tailored for electrostatic discharge protection, ideal for creating tools and components for electronics and manufacturing. Additionally, Stratasys expands its Ultem™ 9085 resin options to include Red and Aircraft Gray colors, allowing faster print speeds and new high-performance applications.
For the Origin® P3™ platform, Stratasys adds over 30 new high-performance materials, including Ultracur3D RG 3280 by Forward AM, a ceramic-filled material for injection molding tooling. The new material options open up additive manufacturing possibilities for end-use applications in industries like automotive, electronics, and more.
Rich Garrity, Chief Business Unit Officer at Stratasys, emphasizes that these material advancements address key requirements for customers adopting additive manufacturing (AM), allowing them to improve productivity and reduce costs.
