Start Campus Names Robert Dunn as CEO and Luis Rodrigues as COO
Start Campus, a company specializing in designing, constructing, and operating sustainable data centers, has appointed Robert Dunn as its Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Dunn, previously serving as Interim CEO since November 2023, will continue leading the company’s efforts in developing SINES DC, a 495 MW data center campus located in Portugal. Alongside this appointment, Start Campus has also named Luis Rodrigues as Chief Operating Officer.
Dunn will be supported by a seasoned senior management team with expertise in data centers, power, legal, and finance sectors, bolstered by a dedicated workforce of over 50 professionals.

Robert Dunn joined Start Campus in 2022, bringing over 15 years of experience in senior roles within the data center sector, including overseeing the construction of data centers across Europe for prominent developers. Leveraging his extensive background, Dunn has been instrumental in steering the development of SINES DC, with its first building nearing completion.
Luis Rodrigues, who assumed the role of Head of Data Center Operations at Start Campus in 2021, has over 15 years of experience leading operations for leading data center operators and developers globally. His expertise has been pivotal in establishing a robust operations team at Start Campus.
Both Mr. Dunn and Mr. Rodrigues are looking forward to collaborating with the Start Campus team to realize the company’s vision.
