His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, delivered a powerful opening address at the 16th International Workshop on Advanced Materials (IWAM), highlighting the critical role of science in building a sustainable and prosperous future. Held over three days, the workshop brought together more than 200 attendees from 20 countries, including renowned scientists, students, and industry leaders, to discuss the latest advancements in advanced materials.

In his keynote speech, HH Sheikh Saud emphasized Ras Al Khaimah’s unwavering commitment to fostering scientific progress and contributing to the global discourse on advanced materials. “Through the annual hosting of IWAM, Ras Al Khaimah is reaffirming its dedication to nurturing scientific advancement and contributing to the global conversation on advanced materials,” he stated. “By developing a culture of scientific inquiry and investing in advanced materials, we are laying the foundation for a brighter tomorrow.”
