Impulse Space, a U.S.-based leader in in-space transportation, and Infinite Orbits, a France-based company specializing in in-orbit services, have expanded their collaboration by signing a new multi-launch agreement. The deal will deliver multiple Infinite Orbits spacecraft to geostationary orbit (GEO) via Impulse Space’s innovative rideshare program, Caravan, beginning in 2027.
This agreement marks a significant step forward in transatlantic cooperation for space mobility and underscores the growing demand for small spacecraft capable of performing advanced services in GEO.
A Partnership Built on Growth
The collaboration between the two companies is designed to meet rising demand for in-orbit services such as life extension and satellite inspection. Under the agreement, Infinite Orbits will deploy several spacecraft beginning in 2027, with at least three satellites scheduled for launch that year. Additional launches will follow annually, creating a steady pipeline of missions that will expand Infinite Orbits’ service portfolio.
The first missions will focus on deploying multiple servicers capable of conducting life extension operations for aging satellites, as well as a fleet of inspection and surveillance micro-satellites. These spacecraft will enhance capabilities for government, commercial, and sovereign customers seeking cost-effective and timely solutions in GEO.

Caravan: A New Gateway to GEO
Impulse Space’s Caravan rideshare missions offer small satellites a new model for reaching high-energy orbits. Traditionally, GEO missions have required large, expensive, and dedicated launches, limiting access for smaller players in the market. Caravan changes that model by providing shared transportation services to GEO at lower costs and shorter timelines.
Caravan missions begin with launches on SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket, which initially place spacecraft into low Earth orbit (LEO). From there, Impulse’s Helios kick stage transports multiple small satellites to GEO within 24 hours—significantly reducing transit times compared to conventional methods.
Impulse’s first Caravan mission is already fully booked and scheduled for launch in 2026. The new agreement with Infinite Orbits ensures that subsequent Caravan missions will carry a growing range of spacecraft dedicated to in-orbit services.
