FMC Corporation (NYSE: FMC), a prominent global agricultural sciences company, has announced the appointment of John M. Raines to its Board of Directors, effective July 15, 2024. Raines will serve on both the Audit and Sustainability Committees.
With a distinguished career spanning over three decades in agriculture and consumer goods, Raines brings extensive global expertise. He has held leadership roles in major agriculture and food businesses across all regions of the world. Most recently, Raines served as president of Digital Agriculture and Consumer Goods at TELUS Corporation, a global technology leader, from 2021 to 2024. In this capacity, he leveraged digital technology to drive data-driven decision-making across diverse sectors. Prior to TELUS, Raines held significant positions at The Climate Corporation and Monsanto Company. Currently, he serves as president of Paris Bancshares, Inc., and is a board member of TPNB Bank and Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners.
