DuPont Unveils Kalrez® Custom Parts Innovations at SEMICON West 2024
DuPont is excited to announce its participation in SEMICON West, set for July 9-11, 2024, in San Francisco, California. At booth number 6148, the company will showcase cutting-edge advancements in DuPont™ Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer parts, underscoring its dedication to collaborative innovation with customers.
Kalrez® products are renowned worldwide for their exceptional sealing capabilities in critical applications. At this year’s SEMICON West, DuPont will present several groundbreaking solutions:
- Kalrez® Bonded Door Seal (BDS): Specifically designed for gate valves and slit valve doors in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, the BDS facilitates easy installation, minimizes particle generation, and enhances processes like plasma etching, CVD, and PVD. Its design allows for detachment from the metal assembly, enabling reuse of metal components and reducing waste while maintaining top performance.
- Low Permeation Seals: From the DuPont™ Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer series, these seals are tailored for high-temperature and high-vacuum applications, operating efficiently up to 300°C. Their advanced multi-layer seal design ensures minimal gas permeation, crucial for applications involving gases such as oxygen.
- Innovative Bonding Method: Developed by DuPont’s technology team, this method allows for the integration of Kalrez® components with other functional materials, resulting in unique composite-structured Kalrez® parts.
