Kalrez® products are globally acclaimed for their exceptional sealing capabilities in critical applications. At this year’s SEMICON West, DuPont will showcase several pioneering solutions:
- The Kalrez® Bonded Door Seal (BDS), specifically engineered for use in gate valves and slit valve doors within semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This innovation facilitates easy installation, minimizes particle generation, and enhances processes like plasma etching, CVD, and PVD. The newly designed BDS supports reduced waste through detachability from metal assemblies and enables reuse of metal components without compromising performance.
- Low permeation seals from the DuPont™ Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer series, tailored for high-temperature and high-vacuum applications. With operational efficiency up to 300°C, their multi-layer seal design ensures minimal gas permeation, including oxygen gas.
- An innovative bonding technique developed by DuPont’s technology team, enabling fusion of Kalrez® components with other functional materials to create composite-structured Kalrez® parts.
DuPont’s comprehensive portfolio of Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer parts includes O-rings, customized components, and bonded parts integrated with metals, glass, ceramics, and fibers.
