Dow (NYSE: DOW) is set to present its latest innovative materials at the VDI congress Plastics in Automotive Engineering (PIAE 2024) in Mannheim, Germany, from June 19 to 20. These materials are designed to support a low-carbon future for mobility throughout the entire vehicle life cycle.
The showcase at the Dow MobilityScience™ stand will feature new material developments for interior, exterior, and under-the-hood parts. These advancements enable decarbonization, circularity, and next-generation design, aligning with sustainability targets while meeting performance, safety, and aesthetic requirements.

The showcased solutions at PIAE 2024 target specific design challenges facing the automotive value chain. They include technologies enabling circularity of thermoplastics, bio-based and circular options, and next-generation materials for achieving sustainability and novel design in automotive applications.
