Corteva Names Judd O’Connor as EVP of Seed Business, Tim Glenn Retires

Corteva has announced the appointment of Judd O’Connor as the new Executive Vice President (EVP) of its Seed Business Unit, effective December 1, 2024. O’Connor will take over from Tim Glenn, the current EVP, who will transition to a Strategic Advisor role before retiring in the first quarter of 2025 to ensure a smooth leadership handover.

With 25 years at Corteva and its predecessor companies, O’Connor brings extensive experience to his new role. He most recently served as President of Corteva’s North America business, overseeing the company’s largest market. His career also includes leadership roles in São Paulo, Brazil, as DuPont’s Regional President for Latin America, and later overseeing Integrated Operations and Commercial Effectiveness for Pioneer, now part of Corteva. He played a key role in the merger of Dow and DuPont’s agriculture businesses, which ultimately led to the creation of Corteva.

Chuck Magro, Corteva’s CEO, expressed confidence in O’Connor’s appointment, citing his deep understanding of the company’s operations and customers, global perspective, and commitment to innovation. “Judd’s operational expertise and focus on delivering game-changing solutions to farmers make him the ideal leader for the world’s top seed business,” Magro said.

O’Connor shared his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I’m honored to lead a business and team that has supported farmers for nearly a century. I’m excited to leverage cutting-edge technology to help farmers feed and fuel a growing world.”

Outgoing EVP Tim Glenn reflected on his 30-year career with Corteva and its legacy companies, expressing pride in the Seed Business’s global impact. “As I retire, I’m pleased to pass the leadership to Judd, who I’ve worked alongside for nearly two decades,” he said.

Magro also extended gratitude to Glenn for his decades of service, contributions, and guidance, wishing him a fulfilling retirement.
