Beacon (Nasdaq: BECN), the publicly traded distributor specializing in roofing and complementary products, has announced the acquisition of two Florida-based companies: Extreme Metal Fabricators, LLC (“Extreme Metal”) and Integrity Metals, LLC (“Integrity Metals”).
Extreme Metal, located in Key Largo and Palm City, Florida, has operated for over a decade, focusing on manufacturing metal panel roofing systems. Paul Filipe, President of Extreme Metal, expressed enthusiasm about joining Beacon, highlighting the expanded access to roofing and complementary products, including waterproofing and restoration, now available to customers.
Integrity Metals, with locations in Gainesville and Vero Beach, Florida, emphasizes exceptional customer service and reliability. Joe Keene, President of Integrity Metals, emphasized the alignment between Integrity Metals’ commitment to service excellence and Beacon’s corporate culture. He anticipates that the merger will benefit employees, customers, and suppliers alike by combining Beacon’s resources with Integrity Metals’ trusted reputation among engineers, architects, and contractors.
Jack Gill, Beacon’s Regional Vice President for Florida, welcomed the addition of Extreme Metal and Integrity Metals to Beacon. He emphasized the strategic advantage of expanding into metal roofing solutions, particularly in Florida’s coastal regions where resilience against environmental factors is crucial. Gill noted that both acquired companies bring specialized expertise in navigating Florida’s building codes, which is instrumental in supporting customer growth.
