BASF’s Coatings division has successfully renewed its agreement to source 100% renewable electricity for its automotive OEM coatings manufacturing operations in Shanghai, China. Utilizing a combination of Renewable Direct Power Purchase (R-DPP), International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-REC), and other initiatives, BASF will continue to power its Shanghai Coatings Minhang and Caojing sites, as well as the BASF Coatings’ resin plant in Caojing, exclusively with green energy.
This agreement highlights BASF Coatings’ commitment to helping automotive OEM customers enhance their environmental performance and positions the company as a responsible and forward-thinking partner for automotive manufacturers. “BASF Coatings’ dedication to sustainability is evident in every product we create.
