Air Liquide is embarking on a new phase of transformation aligned with its ADVANCE strategic plan for 2025, aiming to capitalize on enhanced performance goals and a surge in investment opportunities. This initiative, effective September 1, 2024, aims to foster agility, streamline operations, and optimize efficiency to meet evolving market demands.
François Jackow, CEO of Air Liquide Group, emphasized:

Key highlights of the organizational changes include:
- Simplified Organizational Structure: Air Liquide will streamline its matrix organization by reducing layers and adopting a more straightforward structure focused on direct interactions between Operations and Functions.
- Creation of Group Industrial Direction: A unified worldwide Group Industrial Direction will optimize industrial processes, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency across global operations.
- Governance Adjustments: Effective September 1st, adjustments in the Executive Committee will enhance leadership alignment:
- Emilie Mouren-Renouard, Group Vice President, will oversee all clusters in Europe and Africa Middle East India directly.
- Armelle Levieux, Group Vice President Innovation and Technology, will expand her role to include supervision of Engineering and Construction.
- Pascal Vinet, Executive Group Vice President, will lead the newly established Group Industrial Direction, in addition to his current responsibilities overseeing Group Safety and the Industrial Merchant Business Line.
- Michael J. Graff, Executive Group Vice President, retired at the end of June 2024, acknowledged for his significant contributions.
