I-care Group, a global leader in machine health, has finalized an agreement with Sensirion Connected Solutions GmbH to acquire assets and licenses associated with its predictive maintenance product line. This strategic move enhances I-care’s footprint in Germany and reinforces its position as a key player in industrial predictive maintenance worldwide.
Sensirion Connected Solutions, known for its sensor-as-a-service solutions, previously developed and marketed a comprehensive predictive maintenance solution under the AiSight brand. In alignment with its business strategy shift towards methane emission monitoring, Sensirion decided to discontinue its condition monitoring activities.
After careful consideration, Sensirion selected I-care as the preferred partner for transferring AiSight assets and technology licenses. This decision ensures continuity for former Sensirion customers in their predictive maintenance endeavors.
Fabrice Brion, CEO of I-care, echoes Sensirion’s market assessment, emphasizing the evolving landscape of predictive maintenance: “The market dynamics today require specialized players. Consolidation is inevitable.”
“We are pleased to offer a seamless transition for our customers through this agreement with I-care,” commented Felix Hoehne, General Manager of Sensirion Connected Solutions. “This allows us to focus on our strategic goals in emissions monitoring while ensuring ongoing support for our predictive maintenance clients.”
With an established presence across four offices in Germany, I-care anticipates expanding its customer base, particularly in complementary industrial segments previously served by AiSight.
