Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies (ISIN: FR0013451044, Ticker: ALHGR), a leading industrial player committed to decarbonizing the construction sector through innovative clinker-free cements, has announced the signing of a significant 30-year licensing agreement in the United States.
The agreement grants exclusive rights to a well-established partner in the United States to leverage Hoffmann Green’s 0% clinker technologies and replicate Hoffmann units based on the vertical model of the H2 production unit.
Following successful testing and extensive discussions, Hoffmann Green has finalized a licensing agreement with Hoffmann Green USA, led by Olivier Ducimetière-Monod and Francis Beauvallet. Olivier Ducimetière-Monod, an accomplished entrepreneur in construction and property development in the U.S. since 1988, brings over 35 years of sector experience and a robust network within the American political and economic spheres. Francis Beauvallet, CEO of Beauvallet Construction known for monument restoration and financial engineering in France, adds complementary expertise crucial for deploying the Hoffmann model across the U.S.
In exchange for industrial and technological transfer and exclusivity in initial American states, Hoffmann Green will receive an initial entry fee of €2 million, along with fixed and variable annual royalties tied to Hoffmann cement sales. The agreement also grants the partner the option to sublicense Hoffmann units in these states, further driving growth through additional royalties and extending premix sales to sublicensees. Negotiations with key sublicensees are already underway. This licensing agreement underscores international partners’ interest in Hoffmann Green’s innovative solutions and validates its global development model.
Moreover, the contract includes an option until 2025 to extend the license to the entire United States for a total entry fee of €20 million.
Julien Blanchard and David Hoffmann, co-founders of Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies, commented: “Signing this pivotal licensing agreement in the U.S.A. represents the tangible outcome of the preliminary agreement announced late last year. We are excited to collaborate with two partners who share our vision for the construction sector and possess significant expertise and deep knowledge of the local ecosystem. Following the 2023 licensing agreement in Saudi Arabia, this milestone strengthens our international strategy in key American construction markets, with potential expansion across the entire U.S. territory by 2025. We thank our partner for their trust and are enthusiastic about this new licensing contract, which will contribute to decarbonizing the dynamic U.S. construction sector. The deployment of our plants and the commercialization of our 0% cement clinker will play a pivotal role in this transition.”
