Actylis, a leading global manufacturer and sourcing expert of critical materials and performance ingredients for the life sciences and specialty chemicals markets, has announced the appointment of Scott Thomson as Chief Executive Officer. Scott brings with him three decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Most recently, he served as CEO of SPI Pharma, where he played a key role in the strategic development and execution that drove sustainable improvement. Prior to his tenure at SPI Pharma, Scott held senior executive positions at BASF, overseeing several global life science and specialty ingredients businesses.
