Rigaku Unveils 3D Atomic Visualization Tech for Amorphous Carbon

Rigaku Corporation’s X-ray Laboratory, part of the Rigaku Holdings Group, has introduced the Total X-ray Scattering and RMC Modeling Method (TXS-RMC). This cutting-edge technology provides detailed 3D visualization of the atomic-scale structure of amorphous carbon, a breakthrough that expands the frontiers of material analysis.

Advancing Material Science

TXS-RMC addresses longstanding challenges in understanding the atomic-scale structure of amorphous materials, previously studied only through qualitative methods or molecular dynamics simulations. By enabling precise 3D structural visualization, the technology enhances the ability to predict material properties and functions.
